O is for OST (or me pimping some that I like since I never did that here before)

When talking about anime or drama, OST or the long title Original Sound Track always trails closely behind. After all, it can make or break a scene depends on how well it suits the situation, but alas I'm not really an expert in this kind of stuff, so instead of going all strictly OST, I'm focusing more on the opening or ending songs used in anime instead, with a sprinkle of OST from anime (and some drama that I happen to watch or just listen somewhere) that stands out to me because that's how I roll ha!

To make it simpler, I'll be dividing them by categories; the anime OP/ED edition (I'll try to look for the ones with the animation because that's what usually makes me like them in the first place, unless the song is just so awesome), the anime OST edition, and the drama OST edition.

(I try to limit one song per anime/drama for OST lest I go and spam the hell out of this post with Mushishi's instead. No, really. I'm serious. As for the OP/ED it'll be 2 at most for series with sequels or 2-cour and 1 for the rest.)

Or, this will go down as the most random mixed of music post I ever did in the history of this blog. OTL

Eight Flew Over, One was Destroyed and (Somewhat) Final Winter Anime Impression

If I can divide my mood and overall interest, I think it'll be largely into three portion; writing, anime, and music. And I tend to focus on one interest at one time (somewhat obsessively compare to others) and that, really, is the main reason of my procrastination. Ironically, I realized this when I finished the first episode of THE anime and caught myself (almost) tempted to write the first impression of that episode instead of the intended post; which is my writing. And when I'm damn interested in writing, I won't even bother with anime; heck, that's (one of) the reason I (kinda) stop downloading some anime instead of ones I really watch, but more on that later.

For now, this is the link, as per usual.

50 Things You Didn't Know About Me And My Anime

So there's this thing that seems like some sort of a meme (except not really) that has been circulating around among animebloggers; that is answering the 50 questions about you (me) in an honest way or something. While I don't consider myself as an animeblogger and this blog as anime-centric (since I'm random most of time and really, this blog won't suffer from the so-called 'lack of posts' or 'almost dead' situation if that is the case) just thought that I answer them, if only to at least post something.

...yeah, this is my countermeasure to make sure it WON'T happen that way.

I actually posted a new story at Livejournal a couple of days ago but I know better than to trust myself when it comes to typing or ranting so I'll post the link and rant about it and life in another post later.

Thus, let the long post questionnaire begin!

Because They Say It's The End Of The World, Baby

So this is the usual new year (and random) post; because it's always easy to post something when there's actually something happening, and it's easier to say all those kinds of excuses in the hope of fixing it, even when someone said that resolution is for hopeless people, because oh well, I am hopeless in anyways possible.

The fact that I (kinda) ditch this blog for the whole latter half of 2011 is enough of an example already.

I won't explain myself though, since all the starters of my posts lately always resolves on the same issue, and any words that comes after 'because' will end up being a whole pile of reason (again) so I shall refrain of doing the same this time around. After all, hey, it's new year, no? Something's got to change, and it's always best to start with the obvious.

If you realize what is, good for you, though no presents unfortunately. Virtual cookies count?
